Due to the weakness of a component in the 'quick connector' on the fuel supply line, fuel may leak at very high engine compartment temperatures.
Fuel leakage in the presence of an ignition source may cause a fire. If this was to occur there is a risk of serious injury to vehicle occupants, other road users and property.
A letter will be sent to affected owners advising them of the recall. Consumers may book their vehicles in for a free-of-charge. Until your workshop appointment, if you smell fuel coming from your vehicle, park it safely and immediately contact your nearest official Bentley dealer by phone.
