Defect

The thread fastening the fork bridge to the frame may not be correctly tightened which may result in the upper fork bridge becoming loose and in extreme cases become detached from the frame.

Remedy

As a matter of urgency, contact your BMW Motorcycle Dealer to arrange for inspection and rectification as necessary, at no charge to you. For further information ring BMW Access Centre 1800 813 299.
