During production of the dashboard panel the process of milling the “weak points or deployment points” in the passenger side of the panel has not been carried out. These points are used as a break point of the dashboard panel if the passenger airbag is triggered.
This may cause the passenger side airbag to not deploy correctly in an accident, posing a higher risk of injury to the front passenger.
