Defect

The transmission fluid in your vehicle may overheat under certain driving conditions. Continuous operation under these conditions may cause the transmission fluid to boil over and come in contact with the hot engine or exhaust components.

Hazard

This defect could cause an underhood fire without warning.

Remedy

Chrysler Australia Pty Ltd will write to owners of all affected vehicles. Alternatively, contact your Chrysler, Jeep, or Dodge distributor/dealer to schedule a service appointment at your convenience.
