Defect

The brake pad may separate from the backing plate.

Hazard

If the brake pad separates from the backing plate, this can cause a failure of the rear brake.

Remedy

Consumers will be sent a letter requesting them to contact their closest Ducati Dealer or Service Agent as soon as possible to make an appointment for an inspection/update of the rear brake pads. For further information, consumers can contact an authorised Ducati Dealer or email info@ducati.com.au
