Defect

Vehicles have been recalled due to incorrect software in the transmission control module.

Hazard

With the vehicle in motion and the shift lever in 'D' position, first gear could be engaged, affecting safety for the vehicle occupants and other road users.

Remedy

FCA Australia will notify the vehicles owners to take their vehicle to an authorised Fiat Abarth Dealer, where the vehicle's software will be updated at no cost to the owner.
