Defect

The Tyre Placard may have been printed with the incorrect spare wheel and tyre size. These vehicles will not be compliant with the Australian Design Rule 42/04 - General Safety Requirement.

Hazard

If the incorrect spare tyre is fitted, the vehicle will be considered un-roadworthy, and poses a potential accident hazard.

Remedy

FCA Australia will notify vehicle owners who can take their vehicle to a Chrysler Jeep Dodge dealership whereby the dealer will install a tyre placard overlay over the existing tyre placard.
