Defect

The airbag initiators within the driver knee airbag and/or side airbag modules may be defective.

Hazard

In the event of an accident the side airbag(s) and/or knee airbag may not deploy, increasing the risk of injury.

Remedy

Ford will write to owners of all affected vehicles. Owners are advised to contact their nearest authorised Ford Dealership for inspection and rectification. For further information, contact any authorised Ford Dealership or Ford’s Customer Relationship Centre on 1800 503 672.
