Defect

Affected vehicles have been fitted with incorrect size tyres.

Hazard

Incorrect size tyres may adversely affect handling of the vehicle and may increase the risk of an accident.

Remedy

A letter is being sent to affected owners. Owners are advised to contact their Ford authorised dealership for inspection and rectification. For further information, contact any authorised Ford dealer or Ford's customer relationship centre on 1800 503 672. Until the product safety recall is complete, owners are advised that the Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) feature should remain on at all times.
