Defect

The fuel tube and fuel vapour tube do not have adequate corrosion resistant protective coating.

Hazard

Corrosion of the fuel tube may result in a fuel leak. A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source may pose a fire risk.

Remedy

Ford will write to owners of affected vehicles. Owners are advised to contact their Ford authorized Dealership for inspection and rectification. For further information contact Ford's Customer Relationship Centre on 1800 503 672
