Defect

Poor earthing connection within the main engine wiring harness.

Hazard

The condition may cause an unintended increase in engine speed whilst the engine is idling.

Remedy

Owners of affected vehicles will be contacted by letter. Owners are advised to contact their authorised dealership for reworking of the main engine wiring harness.
