Defect

There is insufficient margin set for the length of an electric wire connected to the headlight switch. As a result, the terminal joint portion moves, contact resistance increases, the terminal generates heat, and the coupler melts.

Hazard

The low beam light may not come on.

Remedy

Owners of affected vehicles will be contacted by mail. Owners are advised to contact their authorised Honda Dealership for inspection and rectification.
