Recall date: 30 October 2013
An incorrect specification stop lamp switch was installed in some Nissan C12 Pulsar vehicles fitted with CVT automatic transmission. In extremely rare cases, the rear stop lamps may not work due to stop lamp switch failure. The brakes will continue to function as normal.
If the brake lamp switch fails, this poses a hazard to the driver and other road users.
Owners of vehicles within the affected VIN range will be sent letters advising to contact their Nissan Dealer to arrange for replacement of the stop lamp switch. The replacement will be at no cost to owners.
