Defect

A manufacturing defect may cause the windshield wiper arm head joint to strip.

Hazard

The windshield wiper arm will not operate correctly, leading to reduced visibility. If this occurs, there is a risk of an accident causing injury to the vehicle occupants and other road users.

Remedy
