Defect

Engine resonances under certain operating conditions could eventually lead to cracks in an injection pipe.

Hazard

The defect may lead to leaking diesel fuel and in the worst case could lead to a vehicle fire.

Remedy

A letter is being sent to affected owners of the vehicles. For further information contact your local Volkswagen Authorised Service Centre or contact Volkswagen Assist on 1800 607 822.
