Defect

Due to a defective shift mechanism torsion spring, riders may not be able to select the desired gear.

Hazard

Inability to shift gears properly may cause riders difficulty when maneuvering the motorcycle. This increases the risk of accident and may cause serious injury to the rider and other road users.

Remedy
