Defect

A small number of fuel injectors fitted to 2.2L Duratorq engines may have an incorrectly assembled internal valve.

Hazard

If the valve fails, it can result in loss of fuel pressure which may lead to an engine stall. If the engine stalls it may pose a hazard to the driver and other road users.

Remedy

Ford has written to all affected owners. Owners are advised to contact their Ford dealership for inspection and rectification. For Further information, contact any authorised Ford dealer or Ford's Customer Relationship Centre on 1800 503 672
