Defect

The vacuum control hose between the Exhaust Gas Recirculation valve and the Electronic Vacuum Regulator may become chafed or heat affected due to close proximity to a heat shield. This could result in a loss of brake booster efficiency.

Hazard

Brake failure.

Remedy

Chrysler Australia Pty Ltd will write to owners of all affected vehicles. Alternatively, contact your Chrysler, Jeep, or Dodge distributor/dealer to schedule a service appointment at your convenience.
