Defect

A temporary fault in the greasing system for the sealing ring on the brake booster could lead to the sealing ring being subject to wear. In unfavourabale situations, the sealing ring may even be pressed into the housing of the brake booster as a consequence of increased friction.

BMW Group Australia will contact owners of affected vehicles directly informing them of the campaign, and advising them to contact their servicing dealer as soon as possible.
