Defect

A very small quantity of steering wheels fitted to Transit vehicles may have a defect with the casting of the steering wheel hub assembly

Hazard

A defective steering wheel hub could experience a fatigue failure and result in the steering wheel becoming detached from the steering column.

Remedy

Known owners will be contacted by mail. For further information contact any authorised Ford Dealer or Ford's Customer Relationship Cente on 1800 503 672.
