Defect

The horse floats do not comply with the Australian Design Rules (ADR). The horse floats state that the GTM is 3500kg where it should be 2900kg. They are also missing a second safety chain and require front and side reflectors.

Hazard

Possible failure and increased accident risk.

Remedy

Owners of affected horse floats will be contacted by Briajen Pty Ltd.
