Defect

As a result of oil leaking from the rear of the transfer box, the park brake shoes may become contaminated with oil.

Hazard

The park break may not be able to keep the motor vehicle in a stationary position.

Remedy

Owners of affected vehicles will be contacted by letter. Owners are advised to contact their authorised Land Rover dealership to have the the vehicle inspected and the brake shoes replaced if necessary.
