The FOBIK, if not fully seated in the ‘ON’ position, could inadvertently move to the “accessory” mode.
Under certain driving conditions (for example bumply roads), the defect could cause an unintended engine shut off and pose a hazard to the user and other road users.
Chrysler Australia Pty Ltd will write to owners of all affected vehicles. Alternatively, contact your Chrysler, Jeep, or Dodge distributor/dealer to schedule a service appointment at your convenience.
