Defect

In rare circumstances, the wheel hubs and and wheel bearings on the rear axle may break.

Hazard

If the rear wheel hubs and bearings break, the driver may lose control of the vehicle and create a hazard to the driver and other road users.

Remedy

A letter will be sent to affected owners. Consumers should contact their nearest Porsche dealer to arrange for the wheel hubs and wheel bearings on the rear axle to be replaced.
