Defect

Following an 'in-service' rear wheel alignment, it is possible that the adjustable rear suspension arm may be insufficiently tightened.

Hazard

The threads on the rear suspension arm may wear, potentially causing the arm to separate while in motion and resulting in loss of vehicle control at speed.

Remedy

Customers will receive a letter instructing them to take their vehicle to their preferred Toyota dealer for inspection and installation of rear suspension arm retaining clips.
