Defect

The rear seat centre child restraint anchor point is not accessible due to an incorrect seat backrest trim fitted during production.

Hazard

This restricts the number of child seats that can be correctly fitted to the vehicle, increasing the risk of injury to the occupant.

Remedy

A letter has been sent to affected owners advising them to contact their nearest Mercedes-Benz Dealership. A full list of authorised Mercedes-Benz dealerships can be found at www.mercedes-benz.com.au.
