Defect

In extremely cold conditions, the compressed air system air dryer breather may ice up and become blocked. A blocked breather will result in a pressure increase in the air dryer, which may result in the top of the air dryer detaching

Hazard

If the air dryer detaches, it may pose a hazard to other road users.

Remedy

A letter will be sent to owners of affected vehicles.
