Defect

The stator coil charge may be reduced due to insufficient insulation material around the wiring inside the stator that could become affected by engine heat, causing the battery to go flat.

Hazard

This could potentially cause the motorcycle to stop running and not restart.

Remedy

Consumers should make contact with their nearest authorised Suzuki dealer to arrange to have the counter measure parts fitted to their machines.
