Defect

The camshaft could potentially crack while the vehicle is in use due to a non-compliance of the material during production process.

Hazard

If the camshaft cracks during use the vehicle could stop suddenly, posing a safety risk for the occupants and other road users.

Remedy

Consumers will be contacted by direct mail. Consumers should take their vehicle to an authorised Fiat dealer for an inspection and replacement of the camshaft.
