Defect

The fastening torque for the air plugs, testing nipples, elbow nipples and brake air hose for the front axle brake chamber may be insufficient due to improper assembly process. The plug and/or other connecting parts might become loose and cause air leakage.

Hazard

Braking performance may be reduced, posing an accident risk.

Remedy

Volvo Group Australia has begun contacting all impacted owners by direct mail. If a customer has concerns about their vehicle, they should contact their nearest authorised Volvo Group Australia repairing dealer for more information or email vga.warranty@volvo.com
