Defect

It is possible for the rear brake calliper hose to come into contact with the rear suspension spring which, over time, could wear the hose.

Hazard

Wearing of the rear brake calliper hose could result in a loss of brake fluid, causing the low brake fluid warning message to appear on the multifunction display.

Remedy

A registered letter is being sent to all owners contactable by Peugeot Automobiles Australia within the affected VIN range. Owners are advised to make an appointment with their servicing dealer to have the necessary rectifications made, free of charge.
