Defect

The right side support member, located in the engine bay, may be cracked.

Hazard

If the condition occurs it may have an effect on the front structure of the car, which could reduce its safety performance.

Remedy

Owners of affected vehicles will be contacted by letter. Owners are advised to contact their authorised Volvo dealer to have the right side engine bay inspected for potential cracks and repaired if necessary.
