Defect

The airbag control unit may not have been fitted correctly during manufacturing, this could result in an unintentional deployment of the airbag.

Hazard

Unintentional deployment of the airbag may lead to a loss of vehicle control. This increases the risk of a serious accident and injury or death to vehicle occupants or other road users.

Remedy

Owners should contact their nearest authorised Volvo Group Australia dealer to schedule an appointment to have their vehicle/s repaired at no cost.
