Defect

Trailers fitted with 50mm x 75mm rectangular drawbar may not comply with the Australian Design Rules (ADR) required specifications due to the strength of the material used.

Hazard

There is a potential for the affected draw bar on the trailer to detach from the tow vehicle and pose as an accident hazard for road users.

Remedy
