Defect

Due to a manufacturing defect, the fuel piping located in the engine compartment may leak. A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source may cause a vehicle fire.

Hazard

A vehicle fire could increase the risk of injury or death to vehicle occupants, other road users or bystanders.

Remedy

Owners of affected vehicles should contact their authorised Maserati dealer to have the necessary work carried out and completed free of charge.
