Defect

Due to a manufacturing defect, a fuel leak may occur from the low-pressure fuel line hose clamp. If a fuel leak occurs, this may result in an engine compartment fire.

Hazard

A vehicle fire may increase the risk of serious injury or death to vehicle occupants and other road users.

Remedy

Owners can contact their local Kia dealership to schedule an appointment to have the fuel rail replaced free of charge.
