Defect

Due to a manufacturing defect, the timing chain may wear prematurely and break. As a result the vehicle may experience a sudden loss of power.

Hazard

A loss of power while driving increases the risk of an accident, causing serious injury or death to vehicle occupants, other road users and bystanders.
