Defect

Due to a software issue the rear stop lamps may not operate as intended. This could result in road users being unable to identify when the vehicle is braking.

Hazard

If road users are unable to identify that the vehicle is braking, it could increase the risk of an accident causing serious injury or death to vehicle occupants and/or other road users.

Remedy

Owners of affected vehicle can contact their authorised Daimler Commercial Vehicle Dealership as soon as possible to have the work carried out, free of charge.
