Defect

Due to a manufacturing issue, the transmission wiring may have been routed incorrectly and may contact the front driveshaft. This may result in an unexpected loss of traction.

Hazard

A loss of traction increases the risk of a crash resulting in serious injury or death to vehicle occupants, other road users and bystanders.

Remedy
