Defect

Due to a manufacturing issue, the wiring harness may become damaged and could result in function failures, or a short circuit. This could cause a vehicle fire.

Hazard

A vehicle fire could increase the risk of an accident causing serious injury or death to vehicle occupants and/or other road users.
