Defect

Due to a manufacturing defect, the bonding between the driveshaft and the engine/transmission flange may not be secured as intended. This could cause the connection to detach and result in a loss of vehicle power.

Hazard

A loss of vehicle power while driving increases the risk of an accident, causing serious injury or death to vehicle occupants and other road users.
