Defect

Due to a component defect on the front side doors of the vehicle, continued use may damage the latch and the front side doors may not open as intended.

Hazard

In the event of an accident/emergency, if the doors cannot be opened, first responders may not be able to assist vehicle occupants. This may increase the risk of injury or death.

Remedy

Owners of affected vehicle should contact their authorised Daimler Commercial Vehicle Dealership to make arrangements to have their vehicle inspected and rectified if it is required, free of charge.
