Defect

Seats installed in seat-belted buses may not meet the requirement for minimum seat spacings and fixings for route service buses. This may result in the seat not maintaining the minimum spacing requirement in the event of an accident.

Hazard

In the event of an accident, if the seat fixing does not maintain the spacing required it could increase the risk of serious injury or death to passengers.

Remedy

Owners of affected vehicle should contact their authorised BusTech Dealership to make arrangements to have their vehicle inspected and rectified, free of charge.
