Defect

Due to a manufacturing defect, the low-pressure fuel delivery line may not meet specifications. As a result, it may deteriorate allowing fuel to leak. A fuel leak in the presence of an external ignition source could result in a vehicle fire.

Hazard

A vehicle fire could cause injury or death to vehicle occupants, other road users or bystanders and/or damage to property.

Remedy

Owners of affected vehicles should contact their local authorised LDV dealer to make an appointment to have the vehicle inspected and if necessary fuel line replaced, free of charge.
