Defect

Due to a software programming issue, the Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) module may fail to illuminate the visual warning lights.

Hazard

There is no safety hazard associated with this recall and the defect will not affect the performance of the vehicle.

Remedy

Once the remedy is available, Mazda will contact owners of affected vehicles asking them to schedule an appointment to have the rectification carried out, free of charge.
