Defect

Due to a manufacturing issue, under certain driving conditions the upper triple clamp that secures the handlebar may fracture. This could lead to a loss of vehicle control whilst riding.

Hazard

A loss of vehicle control whilst riding could increase the risk of an accident causing injury or death to rider, passenger and/or other road users.

Remedy

Owners of affected vehicles will be contacted by Harley-Davidson asking them to schedule an appointment to have a new upper triple clamp installed on their motorcycle, free of charge. To find a local dealership, visit https://www.harley-davidson.com/au/en/tools/find-a-dealer.html
