Defect

Due to a manufacturing issue, the rear-view camera may not display the rear-view image whilst reversing as intended.

Hazard

If the rear-view camera does not operate as intended while reversing the vehicle, it could increase the risk of an accident causing serious injury or death to persons located behind the vehicle.

Remedy

Note: Indicator warning lamp (the rear-view camera is unavailable) will illuminate in the instrument cluster. Owners of these affected vehicles will be contacted in writing requesting they contact an Authorised Ford Dealer to have their vehicle rectified, free of charge. For further information, contact any authorised Ford Dealer or Ford Customer Relationship Centre on 13 FORD (13 3673).
