DODGE Recalls

2006–2014 DODGE DODGE NITRO, CHRYSLER GRAND VOYAGER

Affected vehicles may have a loose or detached driver airbag emblem, and/or loose emblem retainers within the driver airbag module assembly.

2009–2012 DODGE RAM

The front track bar mounting bolt may not have been tightened to specification. A loose mounting bolt may cause a rattle or banging noise under certain driving conditions.

2007–2011 DODGE Nitro (KA), Liberty (KK)

On Jeep Cherokee vehicles, the tyre placard in the vehicle listed an incorrect load and speed rating. On Dodge Nitro vehicles, the tyre placard in the vehicle listed an incorrect speed rating and is missing the P-metric qualifier.

2006–2009 DODGE Nitro

The windshield wipers may become inoperative.

2009–2010 DODGE 2500 & 2500 PICKUP

The Brake Transmission Shift Interlock (BTSI) locking pin may become stuck in the open position. A BTSI locking pin stuck in the open position may allow the transmission to be shifted out of PARK into to any gear position without depression of the brake pedal and/or without the key in the ignition, if a key is applicable.

0 DODGE JOURNEY

The transaxle oil pump may experience a loss of hydraulic oil pressure due to an improperly manufactured transaxle oil pump.

The diesel fuel heater electrical connector may overheat and cause a fuel leak.

2012–2015 DODGE RAM

The front suspension track bar frame bracket may have been improperly welded to the frame rail during the manufacturing process.

The Occupant Restraint Control (ORC) module software on the above vehicles may contain side impact calibrations that are overly sensitive.

2007–2009 DODGE GRAND VOYAGER

The Occupant Restraint Control (ORC) module on the vehicle may malfunction due to corrosion of the power supply integrated circuit.

2009–2010 DODGE DODGE RAM

Some of the above vehicles may experience the diesel fuel heater electrical connector to overheat and cause a fuel leak.

The engine may experience connecting rod bearing failure due to engine block debris.

0 DODGE Avenger (JS)

Investigations have shown that the front door latch cables may become unseated from the interior release handle housing under certain conditions. This could cause the door latch handle to stick in the unlatched position or allow the lock function to become inoperative.
