2024–2025 DUCATI PANIGALE V4 7G | STREETFIGHTER V4 3G

Due to a manufacturing defect, the rear brake hose could be susceptible to heat damage and may result in a sudden loss of rear braking performance. The front brake will continue to function as expected.

2025 DUCATI Panigale V2 896 & Streetfighter V2 896

The Antilock Brake System (ABS) fuses/and or fuse box holders, may have been incorrectly installed during the wiring assembly. As a result, the ABS unit may not be adequately protected, and the fuse could blow deactivating the ABS system while braking. If this occurs during a hard braking situation, the ABS will not function, and the front and/or rear wheel may lock, potentially leading to a loss of vehicle control. Note: The ABS warning light will appear on the instrument cluster to alert the rider that the ABS function is no longer available.

2018–2024 DUCATI PANIGALE V4 | STREETFIGHTER V4

The rear wheel shaft could lose its structural integrity and, in extreme cases, break whilst riding.

2024 DUCATI PANIGALE V4 7G

Due to a manufacturing defect, the rear brake hose could be susceptible to heat damage and may result in a sudden loss of rear braking performance. The front brake will continue to function as expected.

2016–2022 DUCATI XDiavel

The passenger backrest may become loose and break if it has been incorrectly installed and/or if the passenger uses it in contravention of the manufacturer’s information for use.

2017–2020 DUCATI X DIAVEL

The side stand mounting bracket spring retaining pin may break. This could cause the side stand to open whilst riding and the stand sensor to switch off the engine, resulting in a loss of motive power.

2020–2023 DUCATI PANIGALE V2

Due to a software issue, the daytime running lamps and automatic operation of the headlights may not operate as intended. This could result in reduced or poor visibility.

2016–2018 DUCATI HYPERMOTARD 939 STD, HYPERMOTARD 939 SP & HYPERSTRADA 939

Due to a manufacturing defect, the engine oil cooler lines may become damaged due to a contact point with the two cooler lines and may cause an oil leak. If this occurs, oil may leak onto the road and come in contact with the rear tyre. This could result in a loss of vehicle control.

2019 DUCATI HYPERMOTARD 950 SP Hypermotard 950 SP

The side stand mounting bracket may become damaged over time and fail when the motorcycle is parked.

2014–2020 DUCATI Monster Monster 1200 (MA), Monster 1200 R (MA), Monster 1200 S (MA), Monster 821 (M6), Monster 821 (MH)

The rear brake hoses may not meet manufacturing specifications and could be susceptible to heat damage, which may result in a sudden loss of rear braking performance. The front brake will continue to function as expected.

2021 DUCATI MULTISTRADA V4

The motorcycle's engine valve guides may experience excessive, premature wear, and become damaged over time.

2016–2019 DUCATI XDIAVEL

The motorcycle's side stand mounting bracket may become damaged over time. The side stand may fail when the motorcycle is parked.

2018–2021 DUCATI SCRAMBLER 1100

Due to improper manufacture, an exhaust cable may come into contact with the battery positive cable.

2017–2018 DUCATI 1299 SUPERLEGGERA

Due to an improper manufacturing process, the front brake pad material may separate from the brake pad.

2018 DUCATI MULTISTRADA

Due to an improper manufacturing process, the vehicle side stand may break.

2018–2020 DUCATI HYPERMOTARD 950

Due to improper assembly, the battery's negative cable terminal may break.

2013–2018 DUCATI SUPERLEGGERA, PANIGALE R

The engine oil breather system may operate incorrectly, possibly resulting in an oil leak from the air intake breather tube.

2018–2019 DUCATI PANIGALE

The fuel tank ventilation system may be defective and cause pressure to build in the tank, resulting in fuel potentially spraying out of the tank when the fuel cap is opened.

2016–2019 DUCATI MONSTER 821, MONSTER 1200 & SUPERSPORT

There is a potential problem with the gear shift lever due to an error in the manufacturing process.

2018–1970 DUCATI PANIGALE V4

There is the possibility for engine oil to leak from one of the hydraulic tensioner's on each of the cylinder heads on the engine.

2018 DUCATI PANIGALE V4/V4S

There is the potential for a failure of the delivery oil line fitting on the engine oil cooler resulting in an oil leak from the oil cooler component.

2017–2018 DUCATI HYPERMOTARD 939, PANIGALE 959, 1299, PANIGALE V4

The brake pad may separate from the backing plate.

2016–2018 DUCATI SUPERSPORT

Hoses may melt in the bike lower left area (under the battery) due to interference of the fuel tank and air box drain hoses with the horizontal cylinder exhaust manifold.

A fuel leak may occur from the filler plug (when opening it) or from the area under the rider seat both when riding the bike or when it is parked, due to a problem with the fuel tank seal and ventilation system.

2014–2018 DUCATI VARIOUS MODELS

The floating piston in the Brembo front brake radial master cylinder of certain Ducati models is made from polyphenylene sulfide (PPS), which may crack when stressed. Stressors include track use, frequent use of the ABS system or the motorcycle falling.

An intensive off-road use of the motorcycle could result in a breakage of the lower eyelet of the rear shock absorber, causing the rear shock to become loose from its mounting point.

Due to a potential fault in the clutch assembly, one of the clutch components may break, increasing the risk of rear wheel lock up during use of the bike.

2015–2016 DUCATI Xdiavel

It is possible that the rear wheel rim might have been installed in the wrong way, with the 4 rear wheel shaft driving pins inserted in the slots rather than in the 4 relevant holes.

2014–2016 DUCATI Multistrada 1200 and 1200S

The side stand for supporting the parked motorcycle in an upright position could break at the joining weld.

2013–2015 DUCATI Ducati 1199/1299 Panigale S

The internal nut retaining the piston to the rod might not be tightened to the specified torque.

2009–2014 DUCATI MULTISTRADA

The hose inside the sheath of the throttle opening Bowden cable may get stuck inside the throttle control, resulting in stiffening or locking of the throttle control assembly.

2010–2014 DUCATI DIAVEL Series

The license plate holder subframe may develop cracks over time.

2011–2013 DUCATI 1199 PANIGALE

Due to overheating, the indicators may function incorrectly.

Rear fork fastening bolts: The bolts may come loose during operation with extended use. Front Brake Reservoir Connecting Tubes: After extended rubbing against the reservoir retaining screw, the connection tube could wear out and produce a slight fluid leak.

2012–2013 DUCATI Diavel

The side-stand of the motorcycle may bend, and under extreme circumstances, break in the area near the rotation pivot.

0 DUCATI 1199 Panigale

The following defects may occur: Exhaust Valve Bowden Cable Heat Protector: Under extreme conditions, the plastic protector could melt or burn, producing smoke and noxious fumes. Steering Damper Retaining Screws and Ball Joint: Under extreme conditions and after heavy wear, the steering damper may come loose. Rear Fork Fastening Bolts: The bolts need re-tightening to new factory torque standards. Front Brake Reservoir Connecting Tubes: After extended rubbing against the reservoir retaining screw, the connection tube could wear out and produce a slight fluid leak.

Some motorcycles may have been fitted with the incorrect retaining bolt linking the swingarm to the rear suspension linkage rod.

There is a possible non-conformity in the fuel system line that could cause fuel leakage.

Need to replace oil cooler delivery hoses as, if the oil cooler hoses were to fracture they could leak oil that may affect the rear tyre and endanger rider saftey.

Inspection and/or replacement of the oil cooler to ensure that correct oil cooling unit has been fitted to the motorcycle. This inspection is indispensable, as, if the oil cooler were to fail, it could leak oil on to the rear tyre, endangering rider safety.
